Quentin Tarantino and Ennio Morricone revived the lost score for horror classic The Thing to accompany new Western The Hateful Eight.The director asked the acclaimed composer to come up with a score for his latest film, but Morricone was busy working on other projects.Morricone instead offered him the soundtrack he composed for John Carpenter´s 1982 classic The Thing which did not make the final cut.
